Membership Dues, Conference Fees & Registration

Participation in the conference requires membership in the Society for Ricoeur Studies and payment of the conference fee (for both in-person or online participation). Members must be in good standing (i.e., membership dues paid current) to present at the Society’s conference (individual paper or panel, in-person or online). 2023 Membership dues are valid from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024. Members who paid membership dues at last year’s conference will remain in good standing only until August 31, 2024, and must renew their membership for 2024. (Please note: Faculty membership dues and conference fees are pro-rated by salary.)

For the 2024 conference, membership and conference fees are waived for members of the University of Chicago community, as well as Chicago Theological Seminary and Catholic Theological Union. This is made possible by substantial conference support from the University of Chicago Divinity School, the Franke Institute for the Humanities, CTS and CTU. Events are open to the UChicago community for free in-person attendance. We encourage pre-registration. Please see the special registration link below for in-person participants and attendees from the UChicago community.
